Chicago-born Krista Leisure grew up in the San Fernando Valley, but, in 1994, ventured out to the Conejo Valley to start a family and begin new career choices. She first gained exposure to the real estate industry as a website designer and information architect for a commercial real estate technology company. Later, while working for a commercial broker specializing in retail and investment property, she attained her degree in accounting and launched another phase in her business development. As an accountant for three years and seven more as an auditor, Krista formed a work ethic that focused on building solid relationships, establishing client trust and meticulously paying attention to details. She also became adept at finding ways to improve processes that saved her clients time and minimized their risks. Coming full circle from her first job in California, Krista re-entered the real estate industry and became an associate at Engel & Volkers in Westlake Village in 2015. Armed with proven numbers and people skills, she also knows how to simplify the home buying and selling process. Even her design background comes into play, as she passionately works to help her clients find the properties that are both aesthetically pleasing and financially viable, which spells peace of mind. When not helping her clients reach their real estate goals, Krista is very active in the Conejo Valley. She knows the area intimately and takes every opportunity to support her community through her involvement in fundraisers and volunteer efforts. Then, there’s her love of family time, horses, equestrian competition, photography, gourmet food and wine, live music, college football, and hockey.
